*** WWE ***

- Bayley Injury Update: Bayley officially announced this week that she will be dropping out of her WWE RAW Women's Championship Match at WWE SummerSlam, due to her shoulder injury she suffered two weeks ago on RAW against Nia Jax.

- New #1 Contender Match On RAW: With current #1 Contender Bayley unable to compete at WWE SummerSlam, Sasha Banks and Nia Jax will battle on tomorrow's RAW to determine a new #1 Contender.

- Scott Dawson Injured: WWE announced this week that Scott Dawson of The Revival suffered a ruptured biceps tendon tear while competing at a WWE Live Event. The injury occurred during a tag team match with The Revival battling Cesaro and Sheamus. Dawson is expected to have surgery to repair the tear and it is unknown at this time when Dawson will be able to return to the ring.

- Vince McMahon Upset With Shinsuke Nakamura: According to Sports Illustrated, it was said that Vince McMahon was furious with Shinsuke Nakamura after Nakamura accidentally dropped John Cena on his head performing an Exploder suplex last week on Smackdown Live. Vince has stated that he hasn't given up hope on Nakamura, but another mistake like that may change Vince's mind on how he feels about Nakamura.

- DX Turns 20: Triple H tweeted out this week, celebrating Degeneration X's 20th anniversary. 20 years ago Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Chyna started one of the most controversial factions in WWE history. Throughout the years, Rick Rude, Mike Tyson, X-Pac, Road Dogg and Mr. Ass Billy Gunn would also become members.


** 205 Live Recap **
This week's main event saw TJ Perkins battle Rich Swann.

- Tony Nese vs. Cedric Alexander: The match closes out with Nese countering a move into a pump handle slam for a near fall on Alexander. Alexander with a handspring off the ropes and then he trades pin reversals with Nese. Nese rolls up Alexander, grabs a handful of tights and scores the pinfall.
Winner: Tony Nese, by pinfall.

- Backstage, Brian Kendrick says that Jack Gallagher doesn't have what it takes to beat Kendrick. Gallagher attacks Kendrick from behind and beats him down until he can finally escape.

- Noam Dar vs. Mark Thomas: The match closes out with Dar makes quick work of Thomas, unloading on him in the corner with kicks and punches. Dar hits his finisher and scores the pinfall.
Winner: Noam Dar, by pinfall.

- Akira Tozawa Interview: Corey Graves interviews Tozawa inside the ring. Before Graves can get into the full detail of the interview, Neville interrupts and demands to know why Graves isn't interviewing the champion. Neville says he's the hype and Tozawa is no match for a king. Tozawa tosses a chair, takes off his jacket and asks Neville a question, but Neville mocks Tozawa's english. Neville swings and misses at Tozawa with a cheap shot attempt and gets dropped by Tozawa. Neville tries to escape, but eats a kick to the face from Tozawa.

- TJ Perkins vs. Rich Swann: The match closes out with Perkins attempting a knee lock submission, but Swann counters with a handspring splash for a near fall. Swann goes for the Phoenix Splash on Perkins, but misses and hits nothing but mat. Swann ends up on Perkins' shoulders where Perkins drops Swann back of the head first on the turnbuckle. Perkins hits the Detonation Kick and scores the pinfall.
Winner: TJ Perkins, by pinfall.

- After the match backstage, Swann says he's sick of Perkins gloating about the victory and is starting to realize who Perkins really is. Swann leaves Perkins to end the show.

*** NXT ***

- Eric Young Returns: In case you missed NXT TV last Wednesday, Eric Young made his return to the company. EY has been off of TV since June 21st due to the passing of his mother.

- The Street Profits Debut: This past week on NXT TV, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins debuted their new team called The Street Profits.

*** GFW ***

** GFW Impact Recap **
The main event of the show saw GFW Unified World Champion Alberto El Patron team up with GFW X Division Champion Sonjay Dutt and Matt Sydal and battle Bobby Lashley, Trevor Lee and Low Ki in a Six Man Tag Team Match.

- Outside of the building, LAX and The Veterans of War are brawling. The brawl continues until Konnan orders LAX to back off.


- Sienna Promo: Sienna says we're looking at the epitome of a true champion and she has taken out every obstacle that Karen Jarrett threw at her. Sienna announces that she has to face a mystery opponent at Destination X and is staging a protest against it from happening right now until Karen announces who her opponent is. Karen arrives tells Sienna how she's never liked her, but she let her know that her opponent will be Gail Kim. Gail arrives and promises to win the title and retire a champion. Sienna and Gail begin brawling throughout the arena until GFW officials break things up.

- Backstage, Grado is disappointed that Laurel Van Ness hasn't married him yet because of Kongo Kong. Joseph Park gives Grado a motivational speech about their match against Kong tonight. 

- El Hijo De Fantasma and Naomichi Marufuji vs. Laredo Kid and Garza Jr.: The match closes out with Garza hitting a GTS on Fantasma. El Hijo and Laredo trade kicks on each other. Laredo goes to the floor and gets hit with a suicide dive by Fantasma. Naomichi hits Sliced Bread on Garza and scores the pinfall.
Winners: El Hijo De Fantasma and Nomichi Marufuji, by pinfall.

- "Handicap Match": Kongo Kong vs. Joseph Park and Grado: The match closes out with Park and Grado double teaming Kong to the mat and then start celebrating. Kong choke slams Grado and then hits the cannonball on Park for the pinfall.
Winner: Kongo Kong, by pinfall.

- After the match, Kong beats down Park and Grado. Laurel Van Ness yells at Kong to stop and slaps Kong. Kong grabs Laurel as Tyrus hits the ring. Tyrus and Kong go face to face until Laurel pulls Kong away.

- Backstage, Trevor Lee says he's going to prove to Sonjay Dutt that he's the real GFW X Division Champion. Low Ki gives a message to Alberto El Patron that he made a mistake not joining LAX. Bobby Lashley tells Low Ki and Lee that they aren't his friends and need to stay out of his way.

- Dutch Mantell's Down And Dirty With Dutch": Dutch is sitting with Bobby Lashley and Matt Sydal. Lashley says he never disrespected Sydal, but was merely responding to what Sydal did to him. Sydal speaks highly of the X Division and speaks highly of Lashley. Sydal says that guys the size of Lashley have never intimidated him. Lashley says there's a reason there's an X Division and it's so smaller guys can compete and not get destroyed by men the size of Lashley. Lashley says he's sick of trying to prove himself to small X Division guys and then grabs Sydal by the throat. GFW Security rush in and separate both men.



- "GFW Unified World Tag Team Championship, Street Fight Match": LAX (c) vs. Veterans of War: The match closes out with Diamante low blowing Wilcox and then Santana drop kicks a steel chair into Mayweather. Low Ki handcuffs Mayweather to the ropes and then LAX beats him down. Wilcox takes out Ortiz and Santana, but gets cracked with a Singapore cane. LAX double team and beat down both members of VOW. Wilcox gets driven through a table and then Santana hits a cannonball on Wilcox to score the pinfall and retain the titles.
Winners: LAX, by pinfall, to retain the GFW Unified World Tag Team Championship.

- "Super X Cup Tournament Match": ACH vs. Taiji Ishimori: The match closes out with ACH goes for a suplex and then turns it into a Tombstone attempt, but Ishimori counters and drops ACH with a inverted gut buster. Ishimori hits a springboard 450 splash twice on ACH and scores the pinfall, to advance to the Finals.
Winner: Taiji Ishimori, by pinfall.

- After the match Ishimori and Dezmond Xavier shake hands in front of the Super X Cup Trophy, as they will meet in the Finals.



- "Six Man Tag Team Match": Alberto El Patron, Matt Sydal and Sonjay Dutt vs. Bobby Lashley, Low Ki and Trevor Lee: The match closes out with Lee and Dutt on the top rope. Lee is on Dutt's shoulders when Sydal flies and hurricanranas Lee off Dutt's shoulders. Lashley lays out Dutt, but then gets hit with a Si Kick from El Patron. El Patron hits another Si Kick on Low Ki and then all six men begin brawling. Lashley plants Dutt with a power slam and Low Ki follows with Warriors Way on Dutt to score the pinfall.
Winners: Bobby Lashley, Low Ki and Trevor Lee, by pinfall.

- Bound For Glory News: GFW announced this week that their yearly Bound For Glory pay per view will take place in November at The Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida.

- Lockdown Possibly Returning: GFW announced this week that Lockdown might be the third pay per view that GFW brings back in 2018. GFW currently holds Slammiversary and Bound For Glory as their yearly pay per views. It was stated that Lockdown was always another big draw for the company when it was on pay per view in the past. If you've never seen Lockdown, every match on the card took place inside a steel cage.


*** RING OF HONOR ***

** ROH TV Recap **
This week's show saw Christopher Daniels finally get his rematch against Cody Rhodes for the ROH World Heavyweight Championship in a 2 Out of the 3 Falls Match.

- Christopher Daniels and Kazarian Promo From 3 Weeks Ago: It was stated that ROH originally banned this promo from TV, but have decided to show it. During the promo, Daniels and Kazarian take shots at ROH and the fans. Kazarian says he's pissed that Daniels was booed by the fans the night Cody Rhodes beat Daniels for the title. Kazarian says it makes him sick that the same fans that praised Daniels when he won the title turned their backs and booed Daniels. Daniels says he made ROH and he can't believe how quickly the fans turned on him after praising him. Daniels cusses out the fans, gives them the bird and says no one cheered Cody when he was Stardust. Daniels reminds the fans that he stayed loyal and signed a two year deal with ROH while Cody refuses to sign on. Daniels says he's never doing anything for the fans ever again and once he wins back the ROH World Title, he's demanding his release from ROH and he's taking the title with him.

- Silas Young and Beer City Bruiser Promo: Silas Young and Beer City Bruiser arrive and announce that it has now been 43 days since the last time we've seen Jay Lethal, who's been out after being injured by Young. Lethal's music hits and Lethal finally returns, hitting the ring. Lethal unloads on Young and Beer City with steel chair shots. ROH security hit the ring, but get destroyed by Lethal. Lethal goes back to beating down Young and Beer City with the steel chair. More ROH security hit the ring and they're laid out by Lethal as well. Lethal goes back to beating down Young and Beer City until finally stopping and leaving the ring.


- "ROH World Heavyweight Championship, 2 Out of 3 Falls Match": Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Christopher Daniels:

** First Fall: The referee gets knocked out in the match allowing Kazarian to toss Daniels a steel chair. Marty Scurll hits the ring and brawls with Kazarian all the way backstage. The referee is back up and grabs the steel chair away from Daniels. Daniels plays tug of war with the steel chair with the referee. Cody rolls up Daniels from behind, scores the pinfall and takes the 1-0 lead.

** Second Fall: Before the second fall can begin, Daniels unloads steel chair shots on Cody, beating him down. The match closes out with Daniels going for Angel's Wings, but Cody counters. Daniels hooks Angel's Wings again, hits it and gets a very close near fall on Cody. Daniels goes for the Best Moonsault Ever, but misses. Cody hits Cross Rhodes on Daniels and scores the pinfall to retain the title winning the match 2-0.
Winner: Cody Rhodes, to retain the ROH World Heavyweight Championship.


*** Lucha Underground ***

** Lucha Underground TV Recap **
This week's show saw more Quartefinals action of The Cueto Cup Tournament. Also 3 of the 7 Gift of the Gods Medallions were given out on this week's show.

- "Trios Match For Three Of Seven Gift Of The Gods Medallions": The Rabbit Tribe (Paul London, Saltador and Mala Suerte) vs. Worldwide Underground (Taya, PJ Black and Ricky Mandel): The match closes out with The Rabbit Tribe hitting high offense on WU, taking out Taya and Black. London goes to the top rope and hits a Shooting Star Press on Mandel and scores the pinfall.
Winners: The Rabbit Tribe, by pinfall, winning 3 of 7 Gift of the Gods Medallions.

- Backstage, WU agent Benji says if it was up to him WU would all be fired for losing, because his top client Johnny Mundo has enough stress right now. Mundo says Benji is working hard getting Mundo endorsement deals, so WU needs to make sure they help Mundo retain his title against Rey Mysterio.


- "The Cueto Cup Tournament Match": Mil Muertes vs. Jeremiah Crane: The match closes out with Crane grabbing a table, but Crane gets speared into the table by Muertes and then power bombed on top of it. Crane counters another spear and traps Muertes in a front face choke submission. Muertes powers out and hits a spinning choke slam on Crane for a near fall. Muertes sets up a table in the corner, but Crane hits a cannonball on Muertes through the table and gets a near fall. Crane climbs the ropes and leaps at Muertes, but Crane gets caught and drilled with the Flatliner, securing the pinfall for Muertes, advancing in the tournament. 
Winner: Mil Muertes, by pinfall.

- After the match, Catrina gives Crane the lick of death, but Crane grabs Catrina and kisses her. Muertes kicks Crane in the head and drills him with another Flatliner.

- An FBI agent arrives and talks to Dario Cueto. The Order have chosen him to replace Councilman Carlos Delgado. The agent says he’s a big Pentagon Dark fan but even his skin will burn when the war comes and all that matters is bringing the gods back to power.

- "The Cueto Cup Tournament Match": Texano vs. Pentagon Dark: The match closes out with Pentagon hitting a Backstabber on Texano. Texano traps Pentagon in an Indian Death Lock submission, but Pentagon escapes. Texano puts Pentagon in the tree of woe and lands a delayed drop kick. Famous B tosses Texano a horseshoe, but Pentagon intercepts it, knocks out Texano with it and scores the pinfall, to advance in the tournament.
Winner: Pentagon Dark, by pinfall.

- After the match, Pentagon breaks Famous B and Brenda's arm.
  
- Catrina meets Captain Vazquez. Vazquez says the Gods want to use Cage's gauntlet as a gateway. Vazquez and Catrina combine their medallions and it's discovered that Vazquez is Catrina's mother and only Catrina can take Cage's gauntlet. 

- Official Semi Finals of The Cueto Cup Tournament Bracket: The following matches have been made for The Cueto Cup Tournament Semi Finals.

- Yoshihiro Takayama Paralyzed: According to the MMA website called Middle Easy, MMA fighter and former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Yoshihiro Takayama is reportedly paralyzed from the neck down. Back on May 6th, Takayama attempted a sunset flip on his opponent, however, botched the spot and ended up falling on his head. Thoughts and prayers go out to the Takayama family during this difficult new journey in life.

** Once In A Lifetime Recap **
CZW returned this week with their Once In A Lifetime event, live in Voorhees, New Jersey. CZW World Champion Shane Strickland defended his title against Masada. The most talked about match on the card, however, was CZW icon Father Matt Tremont battling Japan's own Atsushi Onita.

- "Ten Man Aerial Assault Match": Ace Romero defeated Ken Broadway, Smiley, Mike Greca, Brandon Watts, Jason Gory, Anthony Bennett, Kit Osbourne, Pandita and Jimmy Lloyd.

- "CZW Wired Championship Match": Maxwell Jacob Friedman (c) defeated John Silver.

- "Triple Threat Match": The Storm Of Entrails (Dan O’Hare and SHLAK) defeated The Awakening (Stockade and G-Raver) and Hideki Hosaka and RAIJIN-Yaguchi.

- Tim Donst defeated Austin Shakespeare.

- "CZW World Championship Match": Shane Strickland (c) defeated MASADA.

- Lio Rush defeated Joey Janela.

- "Once In A Lifetime Match": Matt Tremont vs. Atsushi Onita ended in a No Contest after RAIJIN-Yaguchi and Hideki Hosaka attacked Matt Tremont. Danny Havoc and Rickey Shane Page hit the ring to make the save. The match was made into a Six Man Tag Team Match.

- "Six Man Tag Team Match": Atsushi Onita, RAIJIN-Yaguchi and Hideki Hosaka defeated Matt Tremont, Danny Havoc and Rickey Shane Page.

- After the match, Onita dares Tremont to come to Japan and face him in a match with real explosions. Tremont accepts the challenge.


*** AAW ***

** AAW Jawbreaker Recap **
AAW returned this week with AAW Jawbreaker, live from LaSalle, Illinois. AAW kicked off the first two matches in the AAW Women's Championship Tournament. Former WWE Superstar Bob "Hardcore" Holly made a special appearance as he battled Keith Lee. AAW World Champion Sami Callihan was in Six Man Tag Team action.

- Alex Daniels and Davey Vega defeated Ace Perry and Paco.

- "AAW Women's Championship Tournament Match": Jessicka Havoc defeated Leah Vaughan, to advance in the tournament.

- "AAW Women's Championship Tournament Match": Ivelisse defeated Samantha Heights, to advance in the tournament.

- Brubaker defeated CJ Esparza.

- Bucky Collins defeated Mike Hartenbower.

- "Six Pack Challenge Match": Myron Reed defeated Kody Rice, Brett Gakiy, Jake Something, Arik Cannon and Juntai Miller.

- Keith Lee defeated Bob "Hardcore" Holly.

- Chuck Taylor defeated Andrew Everett.

- "AAW World Tag Team Championship Match": Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier (c) defeated Stephen Wolf and Trey Miguel.

- Mat Fitchett defeated ACH.

- "Six Man Tag Team Match": Juventud Guerrera, Rey Fenix and AR Fox defeated Sami Callihan, Dave Crist and Jake Crist.
