*** WWE ***

- Kurt Angle's Secret Revealed: This past Monday on RAW, Kurt Angle finally ended the whole text message secret conspiracy by announcing that he had a child while in college that was put up for adoption. That child grew up to be WWE Superstar Jason Jordan. Many believe that the rumored affair with Stephanie McMahon was too obvious of a choice, so WWE changed it last minute.

- Finn Balor Stitched Up: Finn Balor posted a picture on Twitter after Monday Night RAW this past week after getting stitched up by WWE Medical. Balor took a guitar shot to the side of the head by Elias Samson on RAW.

- More Talking Smack News: WWE stated this week that it was Vince McMahon's decision to cancel the WWE Network's Talking Smack show last week. According to sources Vince stated that he felt the show wasn't meeting WWE's best interests and he was unhappy with the show.

- Brock Lesnar On His Future: Brock Lesnar announced this week that he probably will not renew a contract with WWE once his current 3 year deal expires after Wrestlemania 34. Lesnar is actually looking at coming out of UFC retirement and possibly working a few UFC events before he officially calls it a career. According to reports Lesnar might be close to working out a deal that'll get him a UFC bout at the upcoming Madison Square Garden show in November. I'll keep you posted on this news. 

- Shane McMahon In Near Fatal Helicopter Crash: This past Wednesday, a helicopter carrying Shane McMahon made an emergency landing in the Atlantic Ocean near Gilgo Beach on Long Island, N.Y. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the emergency landing occurred around 10:25 a.m. ET about a half mile off shore. Shane, who was en route to visiting family on Eastern Long Island stated the following after the incident.

"I would like to thank our pilot, Mario, who did a heroic job of landing us safely in the water, the Suffolk County Marine Bureau who were first on the scene, all the lifeguards who came out to assist us and the Fire Island Coast Guard station, Everyone is safe and sound, I look forward to seeing everyone at WWE Battleground in Philadelphia this Sunday."

- Lio Rush Possibly Signing With WWE?: All week reports have been saying that Lio Rush has signed a contract with the WWE. If true it's unknown if Rush will wrestle on the main roster or join NXT.

- Donovan Dijak Possibly Signing With WWE?: Earlier this week there was speculation that former ROH wrestler Donovan Dijak would be signing with WWE. According to F4WOnline.com that rumor is in fact true.


** 205 Live Recap **
This week's show saw Drew Gulak battle Mustafa Ali in a 2 Out of 3 Falls Match. The main event of the show saw Akira Tozawa get his rematch from RAW against Ariya Daivari.

** First Fall: Gulak goes for a quick pinning combination, but Ali counters it and takes the early quick pinfall to lead 1-0.

** Second Fall: Ali goes to the top rope, but Gulak cuts him off and pulls him off the ropes. Gulak traps Ali in a Dragon Sleeper submission and gets the tap out win to tie the score 1-1.

** Final Fall: Gulak can't put Ali away and gets frustrated. Gulak decides to go back on his No Fly Zone rule and nervously climbs to the top rope. Ali cuts Gulak off and sends Gulak crashing to the mat. Ali hits the inverted 450 Splash and scores the pinfall to win the match.
Winner: Mustafa Ali, 2 falls to 1.

- Earlier in the day Apollo Crews is seen with Akira Tozawa and backing up Titus O'Neil stating that Titus was trying to protect Tozawa on RAW that's why he cost him his match.

- Brian Kendrick vs. Devin Bennett: The match closes out with Kendrick taunting Bennett until Bennett gets in a lucky punch. Kendrick lands a kick and then makes Bennett tap out to the Captain's Hook submission.
Winner: Brian Kendrick, by submission.

- Backstage, TJ Perkins says Rich Swann can't stand coming in second to him. Perkins says they're friends, but next week they'll have a tag team match against each other and can pick their own partners. 

- Ariya Daivari vs. Akira Tozawa: The match closes out with Daivari again beating on Tozawa's injured shoulder. Daivari hits a frog splash and gets a near fall, while holding Tozawa's tights. Tozawa rolls up Daivari grabs a handful of his tights and scores the pinfall.
Winner: Akira Tozawa, by pinfall.

- After the match, Ariya Daivari is furious that Akira Tozawa cheated even though he tried to do the same thing. Daivari attacks Tozawa from behind and sends him injured shoulder first into the ring post to end the show.

- Drew McIntyre Becomes #1 Contender: This past week on NXT TV, Drew McIntyre defeated Killian Dain to become the new #1 Contender to the NXT World Championship.

** GFW Impact Recap **
This week's show saw Alberto El Patron forced into making his decision on whether or not he's joining LAX.

- Alberto El Patron's father Dos Caras and his brother El Hijo De Dos Caras are shown arriving together to The Impact Zone, earlier in the day.



- "Super X Cup Tournament Match": Drago vs. Sammy Guevara: The match closes out with Guevara in control until Drago unloads strikes. Drago hits a running neck breaker on Guevara and scores the pinfall.
Winner: Drago, by pinfall.

- Sienna vs. Amber Nova: The match closes out with Amber trying to get in offense, but Sienna shuts down her momentum. Sienna hits a quick AK47 and scores the pinfall.
Winner: Sienna, by pinfall.


- After the match, Sienna brags about unifying the Knockouts and GFW Women's Championship and says how Karen Jarrett doubted her. Sienna calls out Karen and Karen heads to the ring. Sienna demands Karen to get on her knees and call Sienna the greatest, but Karen refuses. Allie hits the ring with a kendo stick and chases Sienna. Laurel Van Ness attacks Allie and helps Sienna with the double team. Rosemary hits the ring, takes down Laurel then spears Sienna. Laurel hits Rosemary with the kendo stick and then she and Sienna double team her. Karen grabs Sienna by the hair and pulls her off Rosemary. Sienna goes after Karen, but Gail Kim hits the ring and makes the save. Karen announces Sienna vs. Rosemary next week in a Last Knockout Standing Match for the Unified Women's Championship. 

- Backstage, Bruce Prichard asks Trevor Lee why did he steal the GFW X Division Championship. Sonjay Dutt suddenly appears, but gets held back by security. Security escorts Dutt away as Prichard says that he thinks Lee is right, he is the better champion than Dutt.

- "Six Man Tag Team Match": Laredo Kid, Garza Jr. and Octagoncito vs. Trevor Lee, Idris Abraham and Demus: The match closes out with Laredo hitting a moonsault on everyone outside. Back in the ring, Octagoncito climbs onto Garza's shoulders, leaps off and splashes Abraham for the pinfall.
Winners: Garza Jr, Laredo Kid and Octagoncito, by pinfall.

- Grado is shown on his date with Laurel Van Ness. Joseph Park tells Grado to be careful of Kongo Kong. Grado gives Laurel coupons. During dinner Grado asks for pepper, which Laurel sprinkles on Grado's food for him and belches in his face.

- "Triple Threat Match": Low Ki vs. Matt Sydal vs. El Hijo De Fantasma: The match closes out with Low Ki and Sydal attempt a double team finisher on Fantasma. Low Ki hits Warriors Way on Fantasma and covers, but Sydal hits the Shooting Star Press on top of both men, breaking up the pinfall. Sydal covers Low Ki and scores the pinfall.
Winner: Matt Sydal, by pinfall.

- Matt Sydal Promo: Sydal says he feels he's earned an X Division Championship Match, says to always trust yourself and question authority and then calls out Bruce Prichard. Prichard arrives with Tyrus and heads to the ring. Prichard says he's tired of people making demands and informs Sydal that there are other worthy challengers for the title. Bobby Lashley interrupts to inform Prichard that he is the only wrestler in GFW that is worthy of any title shots, which angers Sydal. Sydal inteerupts Lashley and says no one wants to hear him talk. Lashley again demands a title shot, or else he'll destroy Impact and then spears Sydal to end the segment.

- A video shows Grado finishing with his date with Laurel Van Ness and wasn't very impressed with how things went. Joseph Park reminds Grado of his citizenship and if he's ready to ask Laurel for marriage yet.



- "Fatal Four Way Match": Ethan Carter vs. Eli Drake vs. Moose vs. Eddie Edwards: The match closes out with EC3 countering the Boston Knee Party and hitting the One Percenter on Edwards. Moose pulls EC3 outside as Drake quickly covers Edwards and scores the pinfall.
Winner: Eli Drake, by pinfall.

- Backstage, Freddie and Andy from Pop TV's Swole Mates get interrupted by LAX who hijack the camera man. LAX find Dos Caras and El Hijo De Dos Caras and demand an answer on whether or not Alberto El Patron is joining LAX. Dos Caras yells at Konnan in Spanish which forces LAX to beat down both men. Konnan says they're heading to the ring and demanding an answer now.



- LAX Promo: LAX are in the ring and holding Alberto El Patron's dad and brother hostage. Konnan demands El Patron to come out to the ring now. Konnan says El Patron hangs out with too many gringos and LAX is handling this issue with Mexican street style violence. Homicide and Diamante start beating El Hiro with a cane. Konnan then orders LAX to unmask El Patron's dad Dos Caras and humiliate him. Alberto El Patron finally hits the ring. El Patron says he's known Carlos (Konnan) for 20 years, can't believe he's doing this and he needs to stop this nonsense. El Patron warns LAX that if they touch his father again then he'll beat the shit out of them. Konnan tells El Patron to join LAX and he'll let his family go. El Patron apologizes to the fans and joins LAX after Konnan let's El Patron's family go finally. Konnan says he doesn't need El Patron's friendship, he needs a soldier as El Patron curses in Spanish at Konnan. El Patron puts on the LAX shirt as he tells Konnan to never touch his family again. Konnan and El Patron shake hands when suddenly El Patron snaps and starts lighting up all of LAX with cane shots. El Patron beats on LAX repeatedly with cane shots, rips off the LAX shirt and stares down Konnan, who escaped the ring, to end the show.

- John Hennigan Signing With GFW: According to a GFW conference call this week, it was announced that John Hennigan will be making his GFW debut at upcoming live GFW events. John Hennigan is a former WWE Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion and is better known as John Morrison and Johnny Mundo.

- Magnus Finished: It was announced this week that Nick 'Magnus' Aldis turned down a new GFW contract and stated he was leaving GFW. Many are predicting he'll sign with the WWE because that is where his wife Mickie James works.


*** RING OF HONOR ***

** ROH TV Recap **
This week's main event saw Hangman Adam Page and The Young Bucks battle Bully Ray and The Briscoes in a Six Man Tag Team Match.

- Cody Rhodes Promo: Cody mocks Christopher Daniels, saying he's pouting and lost his smile since losing the ROH World Heavyweight Championship. Cody says he has yet to sign a new ROH contract, Sinclair Broadcasting no longer owns ROH and the World Title belongs to the Rhodes Family. Cody says that he will prove that he's a worthy world champion by defending the world title against Christopher Daniels in a 2 Out of 3 Falls Match.

- Punishment Martinez vs. Jonathan Gresham: The match closes out with both men brawling outside. Martinez catches Gresham leaping at him and plants him on the apron with a Last Call Power Bomb. Back in the ring, Martinez hits the Psycho Driver on Gresham and scores the pinfall.
Winner: Punishment Martinez, by pinfall.

- After the match, Martinez attempts a choke slam on Gresham, but Jay White hits the ring and makes the save.

- Backstage, Silas Young mocks the Women of Honor episode that will air in two weeks and hits on Mandy Leon. Young brags that Jay Lethal hasn't been seen in 22 days since Young injured him, before walking off. Mandy plugs Women of Honor and says alot of people care about women's wrestling.

- The Tempura Boyz vs. Cheeseburger and Joey 'Diesel' Daddiego: The match closes out with Daddiego using Cheeseburger as a battering ram, taking out Yo. Cheeseburger hits Shotei Strikes on Yo and scores the pinfall.
Winners: Cheeseburger and Joey 'Diesel' Daddiego, by pinfall.

- After the match, Cheeseburger parties with his Cheeseburger groupies until security escorts them out. One of the security guards attack Cheeseburger and reveal themselves as Will Ferrara. Ferrara chokes out Cheeseburger and then tosses him into the barricade.

- "Six Man Tag Team Match": Bully Ray and The Briscoes vs. Hangman Adam Page and The Young Bucks: The match closes out with referee Paul Turner accidentally taken out with a Young Bucks super kick. Jay Briscoe goes for the Jay Driller on Page, but Marty Scurll hits the ring. Scurll hits Jay with his umbrella, knocking Jay out. The referee comes to as Page covers Jay and scores the pinfall.
Winners: Hangman Adam Page and The Young Bucks, by pinfall.

- After the match, The Briscoes destroy stuff at ringside and shove ROH officials around as Bully Ray stands by and watches to end the show.


*** Lucha Underground ***

** Lucha Underground TV Recap **
The second round of The Cueto Cup Tournament continued this week.

- On The Temple's rooftop, Prince Puma is having flashbacks of what has happened to him this season. Vampiro suddenly appears and tells Puma that the only way to silence the voices is by winning the Lucha Underground World Championship. Worldwide Underground arrive down below and PJ Black gives Puma the bird. Puma promises himself that he will not fail.

- "The Cueto Cup Tournament Second Round Match": Cage vs. Pindar: The match closes out with Cage refusing to take off his gauntlet glove and gets DQ'ed after hitting the referee.
Winner: Pindar, by DQ.

- After the match, Cage hits the referee with the Drill Claw and then storms off.

- "The Cueto Cup Tournament Second Round Match": Dante Fox vs. Son of Havoc: The match closes out with Havoc hitting Fox with a Death Valley Driver out onto the floor. Fox is able to recuperate and hit the Fox Catcher on Havoc to score the pinfall.
Winner: Dante Fox, by pinfall.

- Backstage, Johnny Mundo introduces a chubby old man named Benjamin Cooke as Worldwide Underground's new agent. PJ Black doesn't understand why they need an agent. Cooke pitches himself as why he needs to be their agent, endorsement deals and helping the WU run the LU.

- "The Cueto Cup Tournament Second Round Match": Prince Puma vs. PJ Black: The match closes out with both men battling to the top rope. Puma hits a frankensteiner on Black off the ropes for a near fall. Puma sends Black flying across the ring with a double foot stomp. Puma goes to the top rope and hits the 630 Splash on Black to score the pinfall.
Winner: Prince Puma, by pinfall.

- In Dario Cueto's Office, PJ Black walks in as Cueto is waiting for him. Cueto says that Benjamin Cooke has been calling Cueto non stop trying to get Black a high profile match. Cueto announces that PJ Black will face Rey Mysterio next week. Cooke calls again, forcing Cueto to throw his phone in the garbage to end the show.

NJPW kicked off their three week long tournament this week to crown a #1 Contender to the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 12 in January of 2018. The wrestler with the top score in Block A and Block B at the end of the tournament will meet in the Finals to determine a new #1 Contender.

SHINE returned last weekend with their first of two shows live in Ybor City, Florida. SHINE 43 began the first round matches for the crowning of the first ever SHINE Nova Champion. Who would walk out of the events the new champion?

- "Sparkle Showcase Match": Kikyo vs. Lea Nox: The match closes out with Kikyo hitting a Michinoku Driver for the pinfall on Lea.
Winner: Kikyo, by pinfall.

- All 16 ladies competing in tonight's tournament arrive at ringside for a group photo with the SHINE Nova Championship.

- Veda Scott Promo: Veda says she's been here since SHINE 1 and states that she has the longest undefeated streak in SHINE history. Veda says she's winning the tournament and holding the title forever because she'll never be pinned.

- "SHINE Nova Championship Tournament Match": Priscilla Kelly vs. Veda Scott: The match closes out with Priscilla trapping Veda in a grounded Octopus Stretch submission and forces Veda to tap out, to advance in the tournament.
Winner: Priscilla Kelly, by submission.

- "SHINE Nova Championship Tournament Match": Leah Vaughan vs. ACR: The match closes out with Leah trapping ACR in the Leah Lock submission and gets the tap out win, to advance in the tournament.

- "SHINE Nova Championship Tournament Match": Aja Perera vs. Stormie Lee: The match closes out with Aja hitting the Super Driver on Stormie to score the pinfall, to advance in the tournament.

- "SHINE Nova Championship Tournament Match": Kiera Hogan vs. Shotzi Blackheart: The match closes out with with Kiera hitting Face The Music on Shotzi and scores the pinfall, to advance in the tournament.

- "Fatal Five Way #1 Contenders Match": Maria Maria vs. Brandi Lauren vs. Daisy vs. Dementia D'Rose vs. Natalia Marcova: The match closes out with Maria scoring the pinfall to become the #1 Contender to the SHINE Women's Championship.

- Maria Maria Promo: Maria is immediately cut off by SHINE Women's Champion LaFisto. LaFisto mocks Maria and says she'll lucha the greatest puta ever and then mocks Maria's looks. Maria responds in Spanish, but gets kicked in the gut by LaFisto. LaFisto hits a Stunner and then takes off her mask revealing herself to be Allysin Kay in disguise the whole time.

- "SHINE Nova Championship Tournament Match": Aria Blake vs. Dynamite DiDi: The match closes out with Aria's faction the Cutie Pie Club interfering in the match, while the referee is distracted, and spray hair spray in Dynamite's face. Aria hits a double underhook DDT and scores the pinfall, to advance in the tournament.
Winner: Aria Blake, by pinfall.

- "SHINE Nova Championship Tournament Match": Jordynne Grace vs. La Rosa Negra: The match closes out with ACR arriving at ringside and distracting Rosa. Jordynne hits a power bomb and follows it with a jack knife rollup for the pinfall, to advance in the tournament. 
Winner: Jordynne Grace, by pinfall.

- "SHINE Nova Championship Tournament Match": Candy Cartwright vs. Robyn Reid: The match closes out with Candy hitting Candy Crush on Robyn to score the pinfall, to advance in the tournament. 

- "SHINE Nova Championship Tournament Match": Holidead vs. Ivelisse: The match closes out with the match going to the twenty minute time limit draw, eliminating both ladies from the tournament.
Winner: No Contest.

- After the match, The Cutie Pie Club hit the ring and celebrate the fact that Aria Blake has a bye into the semi finals of the tournament now. Holidead and Ivelisse join forces and beat down the Cutie Pie Club to end night number one of the tournament.

SHINE returned for the second and final night to crown the first ever SHINE Nova Champion! Which lady will walk out the new champion? Also on the show SHINE Women's Champion LuFisto defended her title against Allysin Kay (Sienna of GFW).


- "SHINE Nova Championship Tournament Match": Priscilla Kelly vs. Leah Vaughan: The match closes out with Priscilla trapping Leah in her Trapped In Sin submission. Leah refuses to tap out, but finally does when Priscilla starts unloading elbows on Leah's shoulder while trapped in the submission.
Winner: Priscilla Kelly, by submission, to advance to the Semi Finals. 

- "SHINE Nova Championship Tournament Match": Kiera Hogan vs. Aja Perera: The match closes out with Kiera hitting Face The Music on Aja to score the pinfall.
Winner: Kiera Hogan, by pinfall, to advance to the Semi Finals.

- "SHINE Nova Championship Tournament Match": Jordynne Grace vs. Aria Blake: The match closes out with Jordynne trapping Aria in a bear hug and forcing the tap out for the win.
Winner: Jordynne Grace, by submission, to advance to the Semi Finals.

- "Triple Threat Match": Shotzi Blackheart vs. Dementia D’Rose vs. Natalia Marcova: The match closes out with Shotzi hitting a diving senton on Dementia to score the pinfall.

- "SHINE Nova Championship Tournament Semi Finals Match": Priscilla Kelly vs. Kiera Hogan: The match closes out with Priscilla trapping Kiera in the Trapped In Sin submission and forcing the tap out.
Winner: Priscilla Kelly, by submission, to advance to the Finals.

- "SHINE Nova Championship Tournament Semi Finals Match": Candy Cartwright vs. Jordynne Grace: The match closes out with with Candy countering a cross body by Jordynne into a suplex. Kiera Hogan, who's at ringside holds down Jordynne's foot, allowing Candy to score the pinfall.
Winner: Candy Cartwright, by pinfall, to advance to the Finals.

- "SHINE Women's Championship Match": LuFisto (c) vs. Allysin Kay: The match closes out with referee Frankie Gastineau getting knocked out. Maria Maria hits the ring, grabs a steel chair and tosses it into the ring. Allysin intercepts the chair just as Gastineau wakes up, sees her with it, sees LuFisto knocked out, and DQ's her.
Winner: LuFisto, by DQ, to retain the SHINE Women's Championship.

- After the match, Allysin Kay grabs Maria Maria by the mask and rips it off, revealing Brandi Lauren underneath. Brandi escapes and runs backstage. An angry Allysin grabs referee Frankie Gastineau and hits a Stunner.

- "SHINE Nova Championship Tournament Finals Match": Priscilla Kelly vs. Candy Cartwright: The match closes out with Priscilla trapping Candy in the Trapped In Sin submission and unloads elbow strikes repeatedly on Candy until Candy finally taps out, to win the title.
Winner: Priscilla Kelly, by submission, to win the SHINE Nova Championship.

- Champions Profile: PRISCILLA KELLY: Priscilla Kelly defeated Candy Cartwright in the finals of the SHINE Nova Championship Tournament, to win the SHINE Nova Championship, Priscilla's first ever career title win.

- Priscilla made her pro wrestling debut in 2015 and is from Douglasville, Georgia.

AAW returned last week with their United We Stand show live in Merrionette Park, Illionis. AAW World Champion Sami Callihan defended his title against Keith Lee. Special appearances by, John Morrison/Johnny Mundo, War Machine, Matt Riddle, Trevor Lee and Garza Jr.

- John Morrison vs. Colt Cabana: The match closes out with Morrison hitting Cabana with Starship Pain to score the pinfall.
Winner: John Morrison, by pinfall.

- Samantha Heights vs. Scarlett Bourdeaux: The match closes out with Samantha drilling Scarlett with a kick to the head to score the pinfall.

- "Six Man Tag Team Match": Paco, Trey Miguel and Stephen Wolf vs. Jake Something, Curt Stallion and Danny Adams: The match closes out with Miguel and Wolf hitting a moonsault double team to score the pinfall.

- "AAW World Tag Team Championship Match": AR Fox and Jeff Cobb (c) vs. Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz: Rey Fenix is actually the other half of the tag team champions with AR Fox, however, due to Visa issues, Fenix couldn't make the event and Jeff Cobb was put in his place. The match closes out with Wentz hitting a moonsault on Fox to score the pinfall and win the titles.
Winners: Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz, by pinfall, to win the AAW World Tag Team Championship.


- Matt Riddle vs. Mat Fitchett: The match closes out with Riddle trapping Fitchett in the Bromission submission and forcing Fitchett to tap out.

- Chuck Taylor vs. Davey Vega: The match closes out with Taylor hitting the snap piledriver on Vega and scoring the pinfall.
